ECT Enhances Management Team
Environmental Clean Technologies (ASX:ESI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Warrick Boyle to the position of Manager - Product Development & Operations, underpinning the recently expanded production role of our Coldry Pilot plant and advancement of our Coldry project in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley.
Mr. Boyle brings to the Company extensive experience across a range of industry sectors, with key competencies in production plant operations management, as well as process and product development. As a qualified Manufacturing & Chemical engineer with more than fifteen years in industry, Mr. Boyle has successfully executed assignments with Hospira, CME, CSL, CIG and others.
His immediate focus will be on the transition of our Coldry Pilot Plant to 24x7 operations to deliver the 2000 tonne lot of Coldry product from the company’s Bacchus Marsh facility for the impending test burn with China Datang (see previous ECT announcement, 25th May 2011).
Mr. Boyle said, “I look forward to the challenge of the role immensely. The idea of bringing to market a product (Coldry) which can enhance the environment, export opportunities and shareholder return is something which sits dearly with me.”
The new role will evolve to encompass product & engineering development to support ECT’s plant scale up for the previously announced Victorian project, to be located on the Loy Yang Power site, working closely with Arup in preparation of a Design for Tender to enable ECT to secure a Guaranteed Maximum Price for construction and in order to provide the detailed information necessary to advance Coldry projects in other geographies.
Ashley Moore, ECT’s Business Manager, welcomed Mr. Boyle to the company stating “Warrick’s methodical approach to hands-on engineering and operations management will serve us well, both now as we produce the Datang sample lot, and into the future with our project development work.”
From an organisational perspective, ECT are taking advantage of the recruitment of Mr. Boyle to reorganise its management team responsibilities, with Adam Giles now focused on Marketing & Communications and Ashley Moore’s role expanded to include sales and licensing of the MATMOR technology, in addition to his current Coldry responsibilities.
ECT’s Chief Executive Kos Galtos noted, “With the additional depth Warrick’s engineering and plant operations skills bring to the already broad skillset of our team, ECT’s ability to deliver commercial progress is significantly strengthened, allowing us to advance our intended projects.”
