Shareholder Update - India Coldry Patent

Environmental Clean Technologies Limited (ASX:ESI and ECT or Company) is pleased to advise its Indian Coldry patent has been granted.

Following on from the Company’s update to the market on 9 February 2015 flagging the impending grant of the Coldry Patent in India, confirmation has been received that the instruction to grant the patent has now been issued. The issuance of the registration and receipt of the formal “Letters Patent” will occur in due course.

ECT Managing Director Ashley Moore stated, “With the granting of our Coldry Patent in India, we have completed the process of intellectual property protection in our target jurisdictions, under the international patent system. This outcome is timely given the active discussion underway with Indian Government owned enterprises.”

Note: The Company had originally applied for coverage in Brazil, but has elected to abandon that coverage due to the incompatible quality of the lignite (extremely high inorganic contamination levels).
